Kids Activities - Four Activities To Keep Your Kids Having Fun

There are many things you can get your children involved in to get them off the video games or away from the television set. Below are just some ideas to keep your kids active and having a blast.

Activity # 1 - Have your children invite over their friends for a pillow case race. Once everyone is over, have all the kids decorate their pillow cases any way they want. They can use paints, glitter, etc. Some ideas would be to have the kids decorate their pillow cases as a particular type of animal. Standard size pillow cases work fine. Once the pillow cases are complete, have everyone line up for the race!

Activity # 2 - A great game of Charades is just the ticket for a rainy day. Charades can be a really fun game because children love to act out things and guess them. Again, have your children invite over their friends and they can divide them up into teams. Take turns acting out certain things while the other team guess them.

Activity # 3 - Never over rule board games. Board games is a great way to get the entire family together and having fun. Children love it when the whole family is involved and board games are a perfect way to do this. Depending on your kids ages, games such as Monopoly, Clue, Chutes & Ladders, Candy Land and Yatzee are among the favorites of many.

Activity # 4 - Nothing beats a day in the sun like a good badminton game. If you have a decent size in your lawn, you can set up a badminton net for hours of fun. You can also use this net to have a volleyball game as well. They’ll be getting fresh air and exercise - and so will you. So get your gore running wear on and get outside!
